Hi, I'm Jimmy Jones,
an internationally published professional freelance wildlife and nature photographer.

Most of my work is wildlife. Although I do other genres.

My preference is North American predators. The favorite being gray wolves. My love for wolves goes back to when I was a boy, I have always found them fascinating. Having shot at various locations, I have found the choice location for photographing wolves, grizzlies, and other large animals is Yellowstone.

Some of my publishing credits include:

National Geographic Television, Wolf Print Magazine, National Geographic Children's Books, , American Scientist Magazine, National Wolfwatcher Coalition, Wolves of The Rockies, Huffington Post, Indian Country Today, Newsy.com (online news), Spektrum der Wissenschaft (German Science Magazine), International Wolf Center, Center for Biological Diversity... Other publications include numerous online conservation groups and organizations throughout the US and Europe, in addition to book and magazine publications in Germany, Australia, and the UK.

I am self taught and have been pursuing photography for about twelve years. It has become a passion of mine. For more on me, visit the About page.

Sit back and relax with your favorite drink and enjoy a slideshow or two... All slideshows are full screen!

Wow.. This is amazing and I do not have the right words to describe the beauty of these photos. It is rare that we get to see the mountain wildlife, as it will be snowing almost throughout the year.
